American Patriots are once again resisting an oppressive government.
Join the Resistance! Resist like it's 1776!
No American president since Ronald Reagan has understood and espoused the founding fathers' principles of limited government and even he GREW the government. With the bailouts and stimulus packages of Bush, Obama and Congress the camel's back has been broken. The American people have had enough! Tea party protesters are fighting back against 100 years of degradation of America's limited government foundation as expressed in the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution.

AMERICAN TEA PARTY MOVEMENT
What are the Tea Party movements of 2009 all about?
For clarities sake I will keep this short and sweet. There are many fine points raised by different Tea Party organizations, but the predominant issue is THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT IS TOO BIG. That's it in a nutshell. It really is.
A question posed often in todays liberal media is 'why weren't the Tea Party people upset with Bush when HE signed a huge stimulus bill'. The easy answer is that we were upset, but Bush's term was over by then so naturally protests today talk about Obama. But the problem isn't just Obama - it is a socialist, big-government trend that has been going on for over 100 years. Read that again, please - FOR OVER 100 YEARS! The Bush/Obama stimulus/bailouts are simply the straw that has broken the camel's back and now people who have never been inclined to speak up and protest have been stirred into action.
WE THE PEOPLE have had enough, and we aren't going to take it anymore. We have had enough of the welfare state, the nanny state, our oppressive tax system, bloated and inefficient government, states right's being trampled on, career politicians who get fat off the system, corrupt organizations destroying our liberty (Acorn), government takeovers of private industry, the Federal Reserve and the culture of debt, government infringments on our inalienable rights, the list goes on and on. THIS is not the governemnt that our founding fathers created.
One of many great books that explain our run-away federal government is The Illusion of Freedom by Martyn Babitz. An easier and funny read is Neal Boortz's Somebody's Gotta Say It. Learn about the founding fathers' principles of Limited Government and how the Supreme Federal Government of today is in direct violation of the supreme law of our country - the United States Constitution.
