American Patriots are once again resisting an oppressive government.
Join the Resistance! Resist like it's 1776!
No American president since Ronald Reagan has understood and espoused the founding fathers' principles of limited government and even he GREW the government. With the bailouts and stimulus packages of Bush, Obama and Congress the camel's back has been broken. The American people have had enough! Tea party protesters are fighting back against 100 years of degradation of America's limited government foundation as expressed in the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution.

OBJECTIVISM and Ayn Rand
Objectivism is the philosophy of author/philosopher Ayn Rand (1905-1982), which she expressed in two famous novels, The Fountainhead and Atlas Shrugged.
With the Tea Party movements of 2009 more people than ever are "shrugging", "going Galt" and learning about Objectivism. Sales of Atlas Shrugged are soaring. With the Bush and Obama bailouts and stimulus packages, and now a possible government takeover of health-care, Ayn Rand's story about Statist and Socialist forces taking over the government seem to be coming true. The attitudes and expressions of so many public personalities today echo those of characters straight out of Atlas Shrugged: "...these tough economic times...". It makes me gag!
The basic idea of Objectivism is that true reality is perceivable by a person of reason, and that this is the source of human knowledge and values. The result is a set of moral values determined without religion. A more complete defintion (of my invention) of Objectivism is: "Reality is an objective absolute, that people of reason choose to think and act, that their highest moral purpose is their own self-interest and happiness, that capitalism (rights protected by rule of law) is the best source of justice and liberty for moral, intelligent, thinking people.
Check out the Ayn Rand Institute for more information, stories, links and videos.
