American Patriots are once again resisting an oppressive government. Join the Resistance! Resist like it's 1776!
No American president since Ronald Reagan has understood and espoused the founding fathers' principles of limited government and even he GREW the government. With the bailouts and stimulus packages of Bush, Obama and Congress the camel's back has been broken. The American people have had enough! Tea party protesters are fighting back against 100 years of degradation of America's limited government foundation as expressed in the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution.

CAPITALISM
What does capitalism have in common with the Declaration of Independence?
The definition of capitalism stipulates each person "owns" their own labor. We're all familiar with the following phrase from The Declaration of Independence: "life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness". The authors valued these three rights so much they listed them in the Declaration as the most important of our unalienable rights. And the first among these is "life". To have a right to one's life means that you have a right to choose what to do with your life and with your body. This also includes the right to the production of your life, or as the definition of capitalism states, you "own" your labor.
People who argue the value of capitalism, socialism and other forms of government often debate the benefits and drawbacks of different levels of government control of sectors of the economy or businesses. While these are important issues we cannot lose sight of the paramount value of our most important right to life. There is no system which values the individual's right to their life and the production of it other than capitalism.
Capitalism built America. Our freedom, liberty and standard of living, as well as the speed with which those were achieved, made America the most sought after country for immigrants the world has ever seen. They come here, and we love it here, because of our unalienable right to life and our capitalist system that encourages and protects self-development. But now we are seeing the size of the federal government approach astronomical proportions, as well as the debt it incurs, and their willingness to disregard capitalism in favor of government control.
The socialist tendencies of our government, not just today but incrementally over the last 100 years of our country's history, is to be feared and resisted. Tea Party protestors resist because it is a violation of the fundamental principle of every individual's unalienable right to their life. There can be no liberty, freedom or desire to achieve without this right. We will continue to work within the law to ensure fairness is balanced with freedom under capitalism. We will fight against socialist acts of Congress, the president and any system that degrades our unalienable rights. Members of the Patriot Resistance celebrate Capitalism!
